Our sweet Katie was diagnosed with a very rare form of Leukemia on July 1, 2006 just six weeks after graduating from law school. She fought the disease with great courage and dignity but sadly was unable to defeat the awful disease and passed away on April 7, 2007. Our team was formed in October 2007 to honor Katie and all those other warriors who are waging war against blood cancers.
