As the founder of Links Fore Leukemia, Inc., I am committed to raising awareness and funds to combat blood cancers—a cause that has profoundly impacted my life. If you missed last year’s golf outing, please join us for our annual event on October 15, 2026.
Links Fore Leukemia is a non-profit dedicated to supporting research, advocacy, and families facing the high costs of treatment. In partnership with Blood Cancer United, we engage the golf community to support these efforts. Locally, we are proud to support East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Throughout the year, Island Pointe Golf Club hosts several events for this mission, including our annual Links Fore Leukemia October outing, Night Golf in the spring and summer, and the sale of dedicated golf gear.
I founded this organization while undergoing treatment for a high risk variety of TP53-mutated Mantle Cell Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive cancer resistant to chemotherapy, with no current cure. As the owner of Island Pointe Golf Club for 16 years, this community has been my greatest source of strength. I am currently participating in a clinical trial at Massachusetts General Hospital, utilizing a novel chemo-free triplet therapy. While these innovative approaches offer hope, my journey has highlighted the critical need for more available therapies and funding for blood cancer research.
Your support is essential to our mission. Please consider donating today, sponsoring our upcoming golf event, or participating in our seasonal activities. No contribution is too small, and every donation makes a meaningful difference for patients and their families.
Thank you for your support.
